This is a registration form to join the UC Professional Development Module for Teaching Excellence Award Project. The trainings and resources are part of a collaborative effort between UC Santa Barbara, UC Berkeley, and UC Irvine to create impactful resources for online instructor training. By participating, you’ll gain valuable insights and practical tools to foster diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility, benefiting both educators and their students. This initiative aims to create online training modules to educate UC faculty, graduate teaching assistants and graduate associates on principles of DEIA. The project’s vision is to foster inclusive, research-based teaching practices that enhance student engagement in various learning environments across UC campuses. Goals include designing cohesive and interactive modules, promoting equity mindfulness and self-reflection, and collaborating with UC communities to leverage and evaluate existing DEIA resources.
